Why do I need to phone you?
We accept web requests to change your filtering if you are asking to BLOCK a site.
We accept web requests to change your filtering if you are asking to correct a blocking error.
        ( ie. if a perfectly innocent site got blocked by mistake )
We require a phone call IF the site you requested is in any way dangerous or has offensive content.
WHY?  Anybody can send in a web request. We need to know it is the owner of the account that is making the request.

Why the site got blocked by our filter in the first place:
                         
Social Networking Site... (Includes MySpace, FaceBook & similar sites)
A site hosted on a free "build your own site" service such as MySpace. Many of our customers want these allowed, and just as many want these blocked. There are many dangers on these sites including exposure to provocative images & videos. In addition, the search and communicate features of these sites are often used by sexual predators to find victims.

CraigsList.com is a free classified ad site.... Sell your car or house etc. That sounds nice BUT craigslist makes its money from its ADULT classifieds. These have pictures (hardcore) and most of the ads are for prostitution services. We recommend not allowing CraigsList and require a phone call if you decide to allow it anyway

Video Sharing Sites YouTube & similar sites...
Video/Image sharing sites such as YouTube.com and others allow anybody to put up ANY image or video they please. The sites are automated & nobody watches or polices what videos are posted. There are stripteases & worse on these sites. Although you may have been blocked from something innocent, the dangers associated with these sites is severe & we advise against unblocking.
