Setting Up Outlook Express

Outlook Express Instructions

The following are instructions for transitioning your True Vine Online email address to point to our new email servers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and look forward to providing you with a more improved email service once setup properly.

1) Open Outlook Express. Along the top, you will notice the option "Tools". Within Tools, you will want to click "Accounts".

2) This will bring up all the accounts within Outlook Express. You most likely only have one marked "" or ""
Click on it, then click on "Properties"

3) The Properties will then be displayed. You will want to click the second tab, marked "Servers". You will want to fill in the following information below.

   Incoming Mail:

   Outgoing Mail:

   Incoming Mail Server

   Account Name: user, with YOUR email address)

   Password: password(Replace password, with YOUR password)

    Check "Remember Password" so you're not nagged to put in your password all the time... but always keep your password handy!

   Outgoing Mail Server

   Check My server requires authentication

   Settings(button) > Make sure "Use same Settings as my Incoming Mail Server" is selected

4) Then click on the tab marked "Advanced"

 Make sure that "This server requires a secure connection(SSL)" is checked under Outgoing mail and Incoming Mail as seen below.
If your incoming mail is pop3 (not IMAP) use port 995 (not 993)
